Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The example of the believer who reads the Qur'an is that of the citron: its smell is sweet and its taste is pleasant. The example of the believer who does not read the Qur'an is that of the date: it is odorless, but its taste is sweet. The example of the hypocrite who reads the Qur'an is that of the myrtle: its smell is good, but its taste is bitter. The example of the hypocrite who does not read the Qur'an is that of the gourd: it has no smell and its taste is bitter." So, start improving yourself and memorizing the Qur'an right now🤗

The study of Islamic studies is necessary and important to understand the foundations of religion, especially for children, but what is the meaning of Islamic sciences? Islamic sciences are divided into: ▪️ Jurisprudence (Fiqh), which concerns the Islamic rules on how to perform prayer, zakat and Hajj. ▪️ Interpretation (tafsir) which aims to understand the verses of the Holy Quran. ▪️ Biography (sira) concerns the narration of the stories of the prophets and the story of the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. ▪️ Monotheism (aqida) concerns the knowledge of God, his attributes, his names and what is attributed to him and what is not attributed to him. ▪️The hadith that concerns study is the one that comes from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. ▪️The supplication (invocation or Douaa) to follow the path of the Prophet is to increase the supplications that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, urged us to make at certain times. ▪️ Islamic ethics (or Islamic behaviors) to understand the ethics of Islam and Muslims and encourage their application in our lives, as the Prophet did, because he is our good model.
